My 4 year nightmare
A new furnace, AC and dehumidifier should be a source of comfort, not chronic frustration. Since the installation of my furnace and AC in September of 2020 I have been trapped in an endless cycle of yearly breakdowns and failed service attempts forcing me to take vacation days off work for temporary fixes. Every spring for 4 years the AC has been blowing hot air and every year they take their time coming to top it up and I asked them to fix the bigger problem this year as it’s not normal for a brand new AC to break down every year. In the summer of 2025 they did finally do an inspection and discovered that the evaporator coil has a leak and they had no intentions of fixing it, thus breaching their contract.
Boonstra demonstrated a complete failure of customer service with ignoring service requests and compensation for the continuous lack of service and missed time.
Don’t trust your home comfort to a company that ignores it’s clients. If this is how they treat everyone imagine how they treat the vulnerable sector.
