My 4 year nightmare
Invoice & Service Charges Overview
- If you finance through them they will put a lien on your house
- Breach their contracts (10 year parts and labour)
- Ignore customer calls
- Don’t come to the job prepared
- Bandaid fixes
- Not BBB accredited but have many bad reviews that they also ignore
- If you are employed, expect to take multiple days off work
- Lack of professionalism
- Faulty products
- AC won't turn off once it reaches set temperature and keeps running unless you shut down the AC. This results in an increase in hydro bills
- I called to complain about how it affects their Frontline staff when they don't return phone calls to the customer. I stated that the customers are so frustrated when they finally have someone to talk to that they are sending their staff into the lion's den. That's when they informed me they will not be honouring their 10 year parts and labour warranty. Sadly, the staff disclosed that they are used to it.

Very poor experience with Boonstra. Had them install AC and do some duct work. Took them three attempts do the duct work properly. They also drilled a seemingly unnecessary quarter sized hole in my floor, and wouldn't get back to me about repairs or an explanation. They're also quite expensive, and are not worth the work. Would highly recommend going with a different company.

Very disappointed. Called and made an appointment. Waited all day for them. No one showed. I called and they non-chalantly say the employee was off sick today . No one called to let us know and no apology. We call a few days later to reschedule…. We received an email a few hours later saying that no one‘s available now. Didn’t offer us another time or anything. I’m assuming that unless you have a $10,000 job, booster doesn’t want to come out . There are so many other companies out there. Hey boonstra…you really need to learn customer service skills!!
